Our walls in our home do talk, they talk through the wall decor we choose.

Our walls make a statement about our tastes, our values and the things we celebrate in life. Our walls celebrate all the things that make us unique..... Charlotte here, today I am sharing a super easy and super fast wall decor project that you can create uniquely for your home.

The most difficult thing about this project is applying the base paint ... Once the paint dried, I completed this project under an hour.

I used the Rollagraph, ColorBox Pigment Ink, Colorbox Chalk Ink, ColorBox Mix'd Media Inx, and ColorBox Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder to create this wall decor.

Instructions

You will need an unfinished wood or chipboard word. An unfinished wood or chipboard word can be purchased at a craft store. Paint the word, including the front, back and sides of the word with powder blue acrylic paint.

Once the paint is completely dry, begin adding stamped images. Using the Jumbo Rollagraph Tiny Leaves Design Wheel, roll the wheel horizontally over the entire top surface of the chipboard word. Roll the stamp over the surface enough times to cover the top surface of the word.

Once the ink is completely dry, begin adding a stamped image one at a time using Top Boss Watermark Embossing Ink. Immediately after stamping the image, sprinkle ColorBox Leather Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder over the stamped image. If you are using a tidy tray, gently tap the corner of the chipboard word on the tray to remove all the excess embossing powder. A folded piece of paper works just a well. If any stray bits of embossing powder still remain on the surrounding image, use a small paint brush to gently remove the stray embossing powder. Using a heat gun, hold the heat gun approximately six inches from the chipboard word sweeping backward and forward until the embossing powder starts melting. Do not over heat the image with the heat gun, because the paint will bubble and embossing powder will burn. Continue to repeat the stamping and embossing process several times on the chipboard word's surface. When the embossing powder cools,ink all the edges of chipboard word with Colorbox Fluid Chalk.

Ink a flower stamp with Top Boss Watermark Ink. Sprinkle with ColorBox Leather Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powder and emboss the powder with a heating tool. Run the ColorBox Vintage Mix'd Media Inx pad over the entire flower. Make sure you blend the embossed area with more pressure to apply more ink around the heat embossed area. This will create a stark contrast between the embossed areas, which will resist the Pigment Ink. When cool, cut out the flower with scissors and adhere a paper bloom to the stamped flower, sandwich the two flowers together with a brad. Adhere the flower to the page with a 3-D Zot-Dot. Repeat this process two more times.
