On the Wings of a Dream

Directions (heat-set the inks before proceeding with the next step)
  • Place Light Awesome Aqua Cardstock in the Color Catcher and spritz it with Electric Blue, Gold Glow and Emerald Sprinkles
  • Cut it with the Serene Bird Die and attach a gold bead for the eye
  • Place Aloha Cardstock in the Color Catcher and spritz it with Vanilla Shimmer and Mossy Mist
  • Trim the cardstock to 5.5" x 9.25" and round the corners
  • Lightly ink the solid birdcage section with Jasmine and dry the ink
  • Ink it with Wisteria and stamp Vintage Dreams with Wicked Black
  • Apply light, irregular streaks of Peridot over Vintage Dreams
  • Attach the bird to the background and smooch the beak with Gold Lame
  • Ink the wire cage with Jasmine, then apply several layers of Plum Spice Smooch Glitz
  • Attach it over the bird with foam dots
  • Stamp Circle Word Background on Apricot Cardstock with Poolside
  • Stamp Dream over it with Wicked Black
  • Diecut it into a circle, punch hole and attach mini-brads
  • Cut a 4" x 9" strip of Dusk Cardstock and round the corners
  • Mark the position of the birdcage chain on the Aloha Cardstock, then attach the jeweled accents
  • Attach the pieces to an 11" square of Tangy Taffy Cardstock - use foam dots for the circle
