Glittering & Shimmering with Xyron & Clearsnap!

We're creating with our friends from Xyron all this week! We're so excited to share some inspiring projects and tips and tricks for using Xyron adhesive products with Clearsnap's ink, glitter, and more!

After checking out all our projects here, head on over to the Xyron blog for more crafty inspiration!

Today, Jennifer Priest shares how to use the Xyron Sticker Maker and Glue Stick to Apply Glitter to chipboard shapes:

Have you ever wondered how designers create perfectly glittered diecuts for their projects? Well, here's a little secret: IT'S EASY!

I created a video to show you how I created this mini book cover using the Xyron Sticker Maker and Xyron Glue Stick to cover Want2Scrap Chipboard shapes with Clearsnap's ultra fine glitter. I also use our new Stephanie Barnard Dye Ink Spray to color Want2Scrap chipboard. Then add all the pieces to the mini book cover using more Xyron adhesive. Here's how:

Clearsnap Product:
  • Clearsnap Glitter in Twinkling Turquoise and Orange
  • Clearsnap Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Ink Sprays in Grape
Other Supplies:
  • Xyron 2.5" Sticker Maker
  • Xyron Glue Stick
  • Want2Scrap Nestaboard and Nestabling
  • Zutter Bind-it-All and O-Wires
  • DieCuts With A View Paper
  • Bo Bunny Press Double Dot Ribbon
  • My Mind's Eye Diecuts

  4. Heading over to the video right now, it would be great to see how it's done. I love glitter but not the mess around it, and that perfectly glittery turquoise shape looks awesome.

  6. Nice project! The colors in the glitter is very bold, not just sparkle. The grape is intense. I was surprised that Xyron can hold on top of glitter, very cool.
