Megan Aaron is sharing a giftbox, perfect to hold cards, candies, or gift cards!
I created a gift box using one of Clearsnap's Basic Necessities Acrylic boxes. I lined the inside with Authentique paper. I simply cut the paper for the front and back to be the correct size, but a tiny bit smaller. For the sides, I cut the paper wider than it needed to be and used my folding mat to create creases where the folds needed to be, then glued it together and slid it into the box.
I like the look of the paper on the inside because it preserves the shiny finish on the acrylic box and looks professional.
For the detail on the front I used my Spellbinders Nestabilities to cut some Authentique paper and some Want 2 Scrap/Donna Salazar Designs denim. I stamped the Authentique paper with a Hero Arts Sentiment and a Hampton Art ruler stamp, using Clearsnap's ColorBox Pigment ink in Blackbird and Archival Dye ink in Yellow and Silver.
I also added a little bit of bling from Want 2 Scrap and a die cut from Authentique Paper. Now it's ready to fill with treats!!
To sweeten the Hop, we’re offering a gift for you! For every comment you leave on the blogs in the Hop, you’ll be entered to win a prize pack from one of the participating manufacturer sponsors!
