2nd Annual Handmade Holidays Blog Hop - Day 3

Welcome to the
2nd Annual
Handmade Holidays Blog Hop!!!

Calling all crafters! We’ve gathered designers from some of our favorite manufacturers to show you ways to create something from the heart this holiday season. This 3 day Hop includes over 60 stops with inspiration brimming from every corner. Explore all of the thoughtful and frugal handmade gifts you could create for the holidays, all in one place, during our second annual Handmade Holidays Blog Hop!

Hi - Jean Okimoto here - welcome to the 3rd day of our hop!  We love sharing our ideas with you and hope you'll be inspired to create some fabulous projects of your own using the great products featured during the past three days.  Here's a project I'd like to share...

I love the great array of colorful holiday treats available right now - especially the yogurt and candy-coated Christmas tree pretzels I found at Top Foods and Haggens here in the northwest.  They're perfect for party favors, gift baskets, placecards - and a tray of these little jars would be a sweet hostess or teachers gift too.

  • Diecut 6 Hillary and 6 dark red scalloped circles top the jars (1 of each color will be used with the twine, 1 of each color will be used as a backing)
  • Tape one end of the the twine to the back of the scalloped circle and wind the twine around the circle between the scallops
  • There will be an extra scalllop - just wind the twine around an adjacent scallop
  • Tape the twine behind the circle and cut it
  • Use the Tombow Stamp Runner Permanent Adhesive to attach the extra circles behind the twined circles

  • Punch 3 dark red and 3 Sour Apple small scalloped circles and attach them to the twined circles using the Tombow Runner
  • Punch snowflakes from dark red and Sour Apple and attach them to the smaller scalloped circle

  • Burnish Design Adhesives onto acetate and carefully remove the liners
  • Press Designer Foils (right-side-up) onto the adhesive patterns and burnish the foil
  • Carefully remove the foil strip

  • Trim the acetate to fit around the jars - plus a 1/2" overlap
  • Attach the acetate to the jars

  • Open the "wings" of the patterned cartridges and place the cartridge into the base and punch strips of dark red and  Hillary cardstock

Wondering if she is having some uploading problems because the instructions are missing from the tutorial. There is no comment link or comment icon. Thanks for the hop!
