PARTY!!!

Hello, hostess Tami here today with a fun, bright card to show you using stamps from The {Stamps} Of Life and ColorBox Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Inks...

I love the bold graphic look you get when you mix vivid colors with basic black and white. And ColorBox Stephanie Barnard Premium Dye Inks are definitely BRIGHT AND VIVID! I also like to layer parts and pieces to create depth in a project.

I stamped the banner pieces separately on white cardstock then cut them out. I like that Stephanie includes "outline" stamps with most of her sets, so after stamping the banner pieces in the different colors, I used the outline stamp with Licorice Dye Ink to outline them. They were arranged along the string that was stamped on white cardstock...

Next, I stamped the sentiment, overlapping each word slightly, using the same colors as the banner pieces. I cut out around the words, inked the edges using Licorice Dye Ink, added small bits of ribbon along the bottom...

To make the streamers at the top, I ran narrow strips of white cardstock across the inkpads, inking both sides. Then I rolled a bit at the top, then just folded the strip at angles back and forth down the rest of the strip. The streamers were adhered along the top of the sentiment. If mailing this card, or presenting it in an envelope, you'll be able to fold the streamers down flat...

After adhering the sentiment at a slant above the banner, bows made from baker's twine were adhere to each end of the banner string to finish the card...
