"Taking the Fairy Dust Challenge"!

First up, we have a beautifully grungy tag from Creative Team Member Suzanne Austin!!

This is a mixed media tag that I've created using several colors of ColorBox® Donna Salazar Designs  Mix'd Media Inx™, Donna Salazar Designs Fairy Dust, and ColorBox®  Mix'd Media Inx Embossing Powders.

The base color of the tag is my absolute favorite color from the  Mix'd Media Inx line-Peridot.  I mixed matte fluid medium with a small amount of the Peridot Mix'd Media Inx reinker and "painted" the tag.  While the tag was still wet, I sprinkled on some Donna Salazar Designs Fairy Dust in "Sugar Shimmer" and heat set dry.  Next, I stamped the brick pattern using a stamp from Viva Las Vegas Stamps and  Mix'd Media Inx in Truffle.  I then embossed the bricks using Mix'd Media Embossing Powder in "Leather," "Peridot," and "Jasmine."  The edges of the tag were distressed and inked using  Mix'd Media Inx in "Peridot, Truffle,

Once the base of the tag was completed, I was able to start embellishing using flowers, paper die-cuts, etc.  The blendability of the  Mix'd Media Inx helped me easily achieve the distressed (aged) look I was after!

We love custom jewelry - did you know that you can STAMP jewelry with your favrotie images? Creative Team Member Diana Gonzalez crafted these stamped bird earrings in minutes with Mix'd Media Inx:

These birds are stamped on shrink plastic with a stamp my husband carved for me.
I love Mix'd Media Inx because they are permanent when heat set and they won't rub off later - this is perfect for any wearable jewelry that will be exposed to the weather, clothing, and your hair!

Think Mix'd Media Inx are just "grungy"? Creative Team Megan Aaaron shows how bright and vibrant these inks can be on this fresh and festive card:

To create this card, I inked strips of cardstock with a variety of mix'd media inks and heated them to dry. Then I used a glue stick to adhere chunky glitter over the top of each strip before adhering them together on a scrap piece of paper to create the ombre effect that shows through the cut outs in the card.

Next up, Creative Team Member Sabirna Alery shares and altered burlap gift bag:

The Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx are so juicy and are perfect for blending but are able to stamp a nice, crisp image as well. I used Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx both ways on this gift tag. Such a versatile ink! And I just love the tiny, sheer particles in the Donna Salazar Designs Fairy Dust Glitter - you can still see the stamped image of the butterfly behind the glitter!

Creative Team Member Denise Hahn shares some artsy ATCs created with Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ and CHOX:

Denise Hahn here and today I am sharing some ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) made with Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ and CHOX.  Donna Salazar Designs' Mix'd Media Inx are so great for embossing as they stay nice and moist and hold the powder so well. And if you want inks that are forgiving and blendable for your mixed media projects- this a "must have" product!

I did an embossing technique using Top Boss Watermark Twinkle and Top Boss Clear Embossing Powder embossing powders on the base, then ran Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx over the top. After a few seconds, I wiped away the ink that was left on the embossed area.

Social Media Coordinator Jennifer Priest shares a "rainy day" card highlighting Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ CHOX permanent effect on glossy paper:

One of the things I love love love about Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx CHOX is that they are permanent when stamped on glossy paper. No need for fancy paper -- I just used some 4x6 glossy photo paper I had in my printer.

In addition to being permanent on glossy, Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ CHOX are "juicier" than ColorBox's traditional Chalk Inkpads, resulting in a very intense, crsip image when stamped. I stamped this Victorian lady with Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ CHOX and then I masked her with a cut out of the same stamped image. Next, I sprayed the glossy cardstock with Smooch Spritz in Splash and some water, drying with a heat gun an then blotting with a paper towel.

I then colored the image of the Victorian lady with Smooch Accent ink and Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ CHOX  Dipping the brush in water and then dragging across the Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ CHOX, the ink acts as watercolor! I stamped a sentiment on a scrap of old vintage book paper, also using Donna Salazar Designs Mix'd Media Inx™ CHOX.
