NEW! ColorBox Chalk Ink Colors!

Hello, hostess Tami here with two quick and simple cards featuring all SIX of the brand, 

spanking NEW! ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink colors!

Red Barn, Pink Sky, Candied Yam, Artic Deep, Sea Crystal, and Guacamole,

Templates from The Crafter's Workshop made it fast to ink up the backgrounds for both these cards...

For the "Thanks SO Much" card: Candied Yam, Red Barn and Pink Sky inks were applied one color at a time to different areas of the template on smooth, white cardstock, using ColorBox Stylus & Tips. Then the ink remaining on the tips was used to fill in any spaces and to blend the inks together at the edges...

A small square of white cardstock was inked using Candied Yam applied using ColorBox Stylus & Tip. The sentiment was stamped on the inked square using Red Barn and the edges were inked using Pink Sky. The background was also distressed around the edges using Pink Sky, then matted on a red cardstock card. The sentiment was matted with the same paper and then adhered to the card front. A white grosgrain ribbon bow was added under the sentiment to finish the card.

The "Get Well SOON" card features: Sea Crystal, Arctic Deep, Guacamole inks using the same application techniques as the THANKS card...

The sentiment square was inked with Sea Crystal Ink then stamped with the sentiment inked in both Arctic Deep and Guacamole. The edges of the sentiment square were inked using Arctic Deep, then matted on the same cardstock as was used for the card. The edges were distressed using Guacamole ink. The edges of the background were inked using Arctic Deep before it was adhered to the card. Ribbon flags and a twine bow finish off the card.
