Hi - Jean here - sharing a simple, contemporary New Year design. I love mixing the shades of Curry, Deep Lagoon and Charcoal as much as I love circles - and celebrating the arrival of 2012 is the perfect time to combine all of those elements onto a single card.
The border stamps are from the great Curvaceous Borders cling set by Hampton Art. The new year greeting is from their Studio G cling set. "2012" is simply printed onto white cardstock in the Century Gothic font. It couldn't get any easier than that!
Here are the directions for this card:

- Punch three 3/8" circles of the glittered cardstock and attach it to the border
- Burnish the Fancy Borders pattern onto Celery Cardstock and brush Charcoal Glitter onto the adhesive pattern
- Print "2012" on white cardstock
- Stamp the new year greeting above it with Curry and emboss it with detail clear powder
- Trim the cardstock to form a tag and round the edges
- Punch a small hole on Dusk Cardstock with the leather punch, then punch a 3/8" circle around it to create a reinforcement for the tag
- Attach the reinforcement to the card and tie the silver cord to the tag
- Curl the cord with a bone folder
